What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to assist us in developing our next-generation sensors and vision systems for our humanoid robots. Working closely with our R&D, hardware, and software engineering teams, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of the sensors and vision systems. An ideal candidate is someone who is a multi-disciplinary engineer with experience in on-device computer vision and machine perception technologies.

Responsibilities:

Balance research and product to deliver the highest quality, state-of-the-art experiences, innovating through the full stack
Partner with cross-functional teams to influence what brings our vision to life and into customers hands
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help inform and influence architecture during the design phase according to requirements

Requirements:

A master’s degree or higher (or equivalent industry experience) in computer vision, or related fields
5+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of the state-of-the-art in computer vision algorithms and techniques with a solid understanding of underlying sensing technologies
Solid understanding of state-of-the-art capabilities and design of sensing and compute architectures
Track record of designing complex computer vision sensing HW and SW architectures

Added Bonuses:

Experience with programming (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java), ROS2, or Unity/C#
Experience with VR/XR systems
Industrial or research experience in robotics, especially with NASA, JPL, IHMC, or TRI
Experience with motors, motor drivers, controls, and embedded systems
