We are founded in the Netherlands and an office in Portland, OR will be opened in 2021.

You make the difference You support renowned international customers in their technical journey. In addition you are responsible for the technical alignment in pilot projects, demonstration projects, and testing efforts at the R&D centers of vehicle manufacturers and automotive proving grounds.

Your contribution In this job, you:

You align the technical aspects with the customer, installers, and internal teams, initially also with the European R&D team
You support customer questions regarding software integration and hardware integration Perform vehicle integrations and testing:
You support pilot testing with vehicle manufacturers (e-truck, e-bus, e-tractor, automatic guided vehicles, automotive OEMs)
You arrange test set-ups and support customers with technical questions
You support the interoperability testing with various vehicles
You support commissioning remotely or occasionally on-site
Your support the customer in case of questions
You contribute, where possible, to improve manuals and service documentation
You arrange test set-ups and support customers with technical questions

You monitor and diagnose equipment through (remote) digital interfaces and support remotely or occasionally on-site, plan or carry out repairsor improvements when required
You document your findings and ideas to create and improve operator- and maintenance manuals
You share your findings with the development team for product optimization
Offer generic technical or practical support for business development, sales or other company efforts
What you will bring into Rocsys

A minimum of 2-5 years experience
Engineering background; electrical/software/mechatronics (BS or MS)
A broad technical orientation and ability to navigate in an embedded hard- & software environment (experience or willingness to quickly grasp technologies such as CAN-bus, Python, C/C++, Rust, and also wireless communication technologies such as Ultra Wide Band (UWB), Bluetooth, WLAN).You have sufficient understanding to support customer testing from this perspective
A basic understanding of mechanical & electrical design and basic ability to read CAD drawings
Experience in electric vehicle charging is a benefit
You are willing to travel occasionally (approx. 20% on average)
