What you will be doing:
- Assist in preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, including preparing and posting journal entries
- Reconcile subsidiary detail to general ledger balances, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Maintain various schedules related to balance sheet accounts (fixed assets, intangibles, etc.)
- Perform variance analyses and commentary for monthly financial statements
- Prepare schedules and provide information for year-end audit and tax returns
- Assist in special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Must have general knowledge of accounting practices and GAAP
- Must be proficient with Excel and have working knowledge of accounting software; NetSuite a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent
- Big 4/public accounting experience a plus
