SUMMARY:
Are you incredibly organized and enjoy coordinating fast-paced projects? Our team is looking for an Associate Project Manager to support our project builds, coordinating orders, and preparations for shipment. You will partner with engineering to identify vendors for procurement, manage bill of materials, coordinate new builds and retrofits, as well as managing inventory and coordinating project shipments. You are excited by building strong processes, systems and cross-team collaboration and enjoy the details of engineering projects. You will be the on-site expert on where our high-value components are in the development process, what inventory levels are and where they need to be maintained, and how to resolve competing needs and priorities. This position reports directly to the Robotics Hardware Systems Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with hardware and systems engineers to determine purchasing needs and requirements for production and delivery.
- Collaborate with suppliers for product availability, perform comparative pricing, and establish delivery requirements/timelines.
- Input and maintain online database of all products and maintaining inventory with regular updates.
- Identify and resolve any and all issues related to product quality, delivery, utilization, and loss for electrical, mechanical, and embedded hardware components.
- Plan and coordinate tasks, resources and timelines as required to successfully execute hardware development projects.
- Creating parts kitting for product builds, integration, and deployments to the field.
- Coordinate across John Deere and Blue River to ensure on-time delivery of critical hardware components for R&D.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Experience in purchasing and inventory control management.
- Proficiency in database management, analyzing and reporting data regarding inventory issues, results, solutions.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and exercise independent judgment.
- Excellent communicator to different audiences, both internal and external both in verbal and written medium.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and CAD drawings/BOMs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and/or GSuite.
- Experience with inventory management tools and purchasing tools such as NetSuite.
- BS in an Engineering discipline preferred.
- Knowledge of Airtable, Aligni, Confluence, Jira or similar project management software is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

The US base salary range for this position is $88,000 – $156,000, along with eligibility for Blue River’s bonus and benefit programs.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
