Here in the heart of Silicon Valley, the world’s birthplace of robotics, we are collecting robots for the Silicon Valley Robotics Museum, featuring the Joanne Pransky Museum of Social Robots, and the Museum of Robot Startups. Launched in October 2022 at Circuit Launch 8000 Edgewater Dr Oakland California.
We are sad to announce that Joanne passed away earlier in 2023. Prof Robin Murphy published a beautiful obituary for Joanne on Robohub.org and Women in Robotics has launched a scholarship fund to celebrate Joanne’s passion, compassion and joy in robotics.
