You are right for this role if you are passionate about adding value to a fast-paced organization through the delivery of timely, complete and accurate financial information. You are forward looking and possess the experience to build the foundation for Seismic to scale to a multi-billion dollar company. Ideally, you have a mix of Big Four and industry experience and a bachelor’s degree.
Who you are:
3+ years’ experience in an accounting role
Must have strong knowledge of accounting practices and GAAP
Must be proficient with Excel and have working knowledge of accounting software; Netsuite a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced accounting environment
BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent
Big 4/public accounting experience a plus
Experience with M&A activities a plus
What you will be doing:
Maintain general ledger by preparing and recording asset, liability, and expense entries of multiple subsidiaries
Record, track, and reconcile multi-currency intercompany transactions
Assist in management of month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform variance analyses and commentary for monthly financial statements
Prepare schedules and provide information for year-end audit and tax returns
Assist in preparation of international compliance items, including annual audits and quarterly filings
Record monthly transactions related to benefits, commissions, bonus, 401(k)
Document business processes in conjunction with accounting policies that pertain to period end close work
Other duties as assigned
