Silicon Valley Robotics is celebrating the best of innovation and commercialization of robotics technologies in 2020, by announcing the 2020 Silicon Valley Robotics Industry Awards. Nominations will be accepted from Silicon Valley Robotics members and from the robotics community.
Awards will be announced in a range of categories, for Innovation, for Commercialization, for Design, Advocacy and Overall Excellence. To be awarded, a robotics technology or company must meet the criterias for excellence determined by our industry leading Advisory Board.

CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS
| Startups | Companies | Partners |
| Less than 5 years since founded, or less than $5 million in funding raised by July 1 2020. | Older than 5 years or with more than $5 million in funding, for SMEs or Growth Stage. | Partner industries, products for use in robotics including AI and sensor technology. |
CRITERIA FOR AWARDS
| Innovation | A technology or product released since the start of 2019 and that is creating an impact in robotics. |
| Commercial-ization | An outstanding business strategy, event or leadership since the start of 2019 that showcases the successful applications of robotics in a specific vertical. |
| Design | A robot showing excellence in design, including both DFM, industrial and interactional design. |
| Advocacy | Individuals or companies who are global champions for good robots and the social impact of technology. |
| Overall Excellence | When there are clear category winners, then at the judges discretion, an award(s) for Overall Excellence shall be announced. |
