Silicon Valley Robotics member since 2017, SICK has actively supported the California robotics industry. SICK works with robot OEM’s to tune SICK’s LiDAR technology to the emerging AMR market  with the TiM family of small LiDAR’s ( and safety versions). SICK has been active in advancing safety to meet the demands of new robots and smart robotics systems under development. Some recent examples are the World’s smallest safety LiDAR, the nanoScan3 which also received a 2020 Silicon Valley Robotics Innovation Award. Also, the first outdoor safety scanner (outdoorScan3), and other products which support flexible safety over Ethernet.
